A Queen Anne period, red walnut-framed dining or side chair, dating from the early 18th century. In typical Queen Anne style, this chair has a solid vasiform splat, a drop-in seat, cabriole front legs with pad feet, and splayed rear legs, all supported by a turned and block H-stretcher. The seat features a later re-upholstered crewel work decoration. Which, though probably not original to the chair, is likely 19th century.

Overall condition is very good with age-related wear and tear.
