A stunning 18th-century George II circular tilt-top table, which features a beautifully crafted one-piece top made from a richly grained piece of walnut with the gently worn and lightly waxed finish showcasing the natural luster and pattern of the wood.
The tabletop is supported by a turned column and three intricately carved cabriole legs, with each being carved with acanthus leaf motifs and finished with ball and claw feet.
Overall condition is very good with a wonderful time-worn patina.
Both elegant and functional, this is a truly wonderful example of a classic piece of mid-Georgian furniture
