A well-proportioned chest on stand with three short over two long walnut veneer drawers with oak inners, brass handles, and brass lock escutcheons. Finished on a base with a deep, full-width drawer, moulded frieze, and cabriole legs. 
 
Overall condition is very good. The upper carcass and lower stand have been restored with ash woodwork, replacing the previously woodworm-damaged rear and sides.
