A charmingly naive George II oak lowboy with a rich aged patina. Featuring a two-piece top with a moulded edge over a single cock-beaded drawer which still retains a set of internal dividers. The drawer front is fitted with brass swan neck handles and a brass lock escutcheon. Raised on square tapered legs.
The overall condition is very good. We have had to replace the drawer slides and a portion of the cockbeading which had been lost to time. A delightfully simple example of mid-18th-century Georgian country house furniture.
