An 18th-century oak chest of drawers. Having two long, deep drawers, each with brass handles and lock escutcheons. Finished on bracket feet. 
 
Possibly the base of a larger chest on chest in years gone by, but the patina on the top would suggest it has been used in it's current form for many decades, if not more.
 
The overall condition is very good, with age related wear and tear. Please see images for details.
