An early 18th-century antique carved oak coffer. The oak coffer has a three-panel lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The three-panel front has beautifully decorative carved detail. Raised on stile feet.
 
Overall condition is very good, with a nice time-worn patina and age-related wear and tear. Some minor losses to the inlays on the front legs which adds to the charm of this wonderfully decorative piece of period oak.
