A very elegant Georgian mahogany side table with an octagonal-shaped pivoting height-adjustable top above a spiral-turned support with three splayed legs. Probably a firescreen originally, but more useful in the modern home as a small occasional table.
In lovely condition with a recently restored top. We have noted a couple of historic repairs to the base and one of the legs. Please see images for details.
Overall, a charming, beautifully constructed and useful little table.
