A stunning and well-proportioned George I walnut featherbanded, oak-sided secretaire chest on chest.
 
The moulded top above two short and six oak-lined long drawers with later engraved brass backplate handles and lock escutcheons; the bottom drawer of the top section opens to reveal a secretaire with a fall front, six pigeonholes and four small compartments; above three further long drawers to the base, which is finished on bracket feet.
 
The overall condition of this wonderful piece of Georgian furniture is excellent.  Wear and tear commensurate with age.  Please see images for further detail.
