A 20th C. blue & white bottle vase with a Qianlong six-character seal mark. Painted in a deep cobalt blue with rich heaping and piling in imitation of the celebrated 15th-century Ming style, with a large band of composite floral scrolls running around the main part of the body, set above large lotus petal lappets and a band of classic scroll at the foot. A further thin band of composite floral scrolls at the shoulder rises up to the tall waisted neck, with a band of a key pattern below upright plantain leaves, finished by a band of breaking waves above further ruyi lappets.
